Our Step By Step Process

First Appointment

When you first visit us at Lower Mainland Denture Clinic, we'll sit down and talk about all the possible solutions for your dental needs. If implant-supported dentures are on your radar, we can explore that together. We'll do a detailed health check of your mouth and even take some initial impressions, if needed.

Third Appointment

Over the next few months, while your jaw and implants are getting to know each other, we'll invite you back for regular check-ins. This is just so we can make sure everything is going smoothly with your healing process.

Fifth Appointment

The last step is the best one! This is when we fit your tailor-made, implant-supported dentures onto your implants. We make sure everything looks and feels just right, making any small adjustments needed. When you leave our clinic, you'll be sporting a brand-new, radiant smile!

Second Appointment

Your next appointment is a big one – this is when your dental implants are put into place in your jawbone. After this, there's a bit of a waiting game as your body gets to work healing and making these implants part of your jaw.

Fourth Appointment

Once your implants are nicely fused to your bone, we attach the connectors, also known as abutments. Then, we're back to our impressions, getting that perfect mould for your new denture.

On the first day all treatment options are discussed. Patient can choose from Precision or Standard Dentures and preliminary impressions are taken.

Second Appointment

Final functional impressions are taken on the second appointment.

Third Appointment

A jaw relationship record is taken at the 3rd appointment, as well as teeth selection is done.

Fourth Appointment

Teeth are set in wax and the patient gets to “Try them” in our clinic to see if he/she likes them! If the patient likes the aesthetics of the new wax dentures, we then proceed to transforming the wax dentures into your new beautiful dentures!

Fifth Appointment

Teeth are set in wax and the patient gets to “Try them”. If the patient is satisfied with the looks of the new wax dentures, we then begin the process of transforming the wax dentures into your new beautiful smile!
